Depending on the features you use, Eberechi Connect may process:

• Photographs and other profile media.

• Relationship-assessment responses.
• Private communications and other information generated from interactions with the Platform.

• Information generated from interactions with the Platform.

Certain features may require email or phone verification, profile completion, relationship assessment, selfie/liveness verification, identity verification or other safety checks.

Selfie/liveness or identity verification may involve sensitive personal data. Where such information is processed, Eberechi Connect will handle it in accordance with applicable Nigerian data-protection law.

Where the law requires explicit consent for a processing activity, Eberechi Connect will seek that consent through an appropriate affirmative mechanism.

Eberechi Connect may use specialist third-party verification providers. Their role, data processing and applicable safeguards will be addressed through the relevant privacy arrangements and contractual safeguards.

The Platform may use information from your profile, preferences, assessment responses and other permitted information to generate compatibility recommendations and personalise your experience.

Compatibility scores and recommendations are algorithmic outputs intended as tools for discovery and relationship education. They are not objective predictions of relationship success, marriage, character, sexual compatibility, safety, honesty or future behaviour.

A compatibility recommendation is not a determination of a person's worth, suitability, safety or future conduct.

Eberechi Connect may test, improve, recalibrate or modify recommendation systems.

Where applicable law provides rights relating to automated decision-making, including human intervention, expression of a view or contesting a decision, the applicable process will be made available through the relevant privacy or Platform process.

Private messaging is provided to help members communicate. Eberechi Connect may review, restrict or act on communications where permitted by law and reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, moderation, security or legal compliance.

Eberechi Connect may use automated and human moderation tools to detect or prevent fraud, abuse, harmful content and security threats, subject to applicable law and this Privacy Policy.

Live sessions may be recorded, photographed, transcribed or otherwise captured for moderation, replay, educational, promotional or platform purposes where appropriate notice is provided and the processing is permitted by law.

Users should not assume that a Live conversation is confidential unless the applicable session expressly states otherwise.

Where third-party processors are used for verification, payments, analytics, communications, hosting or other functions, Eberechi Connect will manage those relationships in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements.

The Platform may integrate with payment processors, authentication services, analytics providers, verification providers, event providers, venues, communications services and other third-party services. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies where applicable.

Eberechi Connect may retain limited records where reasonably necessary to comply with law, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, establish or defend legal claims, or protect the rights and safety of users and the Platform. Account deletion is subject to applicable retention obligations and this Privacy Policy.

Eberechi Connect will comply with applicable Nigerian data-protection requirements, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and applicable regulations, guidance and lawful directives of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Where applicable law requires a Data Privacy Impact Assessment or other prior privacy-risk assessment for a processing activity, Eberechi Connect will address that requirement before the relevant processing begins.

Applicable data-subject rights and complaint mechanisms will be made available in accordance with applicable Nigerian data-protection law. Privacy and data requests may be submitted to eberechiconnect@gmail.com.

Eberechi Connect will apply appropriate safeguards to personal data in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements. The Platform's handling of verification, communications and other personal data is subject to applicable security and privacy requirements.
